A Child’s Place is a licensed, family-owned early learning center located in Nicholasville, KY for the past 27 years. Our newly renovated facility provides a nurturing space where children are stimulated, encouraged, challenged and comforted. In the warmth of this setting we hope each child in our care develops a positive attitude toward learning. Our approach to child care and education is caring for the “whole child” and meeting their physical, emotional and intellectual needs. Our services include infant care, a certified preschool program, an after school program, and a summer program that encourage development and exploration through hands-on learning experiences.

Admissions
The process begins with your school tour to visit our school. During the tour at our school, we invite you to observe one of our classrooms to see how our teachers interact with our students. Following this, you will promptly hear back from A Child’s Place, and you will be requested to fill out and send us an Application Form.

“I have never been happier with a daycare. From the very first time I stepped into the daycare I was treated with such care and concern for KJ. I needed to get him switched to a different center asap. Ms. Tracy made sure he was able to get in the following Monday. She told me not to worry about anything that he will be enrolled on Monday. And sure enough he was. When summer came around my oldest needed care and Ms. Tanya helped me get Rome enrolled with no issues. Typically he would go to his afterschool program at his school. He wanted to stay enrolled with the center for afterschool and summers because of Ms. Tanya. She listens to him, she keeps up with him, if he isn’t there she asks about him to make sure he is okay, she sticks up for him. Usually being the parent you are your child’s only advocate. I know without a doubt Ms. Tanya has Rome’s best interest and truly cares about him. The entire daycare is great with open communication. I love that if something is wrong or something comes up I know I will be notified ASAP. I am happy my children attend there. I have no worries and I would recommend A Child’s Place to anyone!”
“We enrolled our daughter Parker Jane in a A Child’s Place daycare center when she was 12 months old. Needless to say I was a bit nervous about the entire process. The Director answered all of my many questions and once we did drop her off on the first day, she was there, with tissues in hand, assuring us that our baby would be OK and that we could call her anytime to see how she was doing. And, she meant it. Anytime / called, she would check in on her and let me know how she was doing, and what she was doing – that extra bit of information gave it that special touch. She took that extra step that allowed me to relax and enjoy the transition. Parker Jane is now two years old and thriving. She has learned so many things while attending school. We noticed a huge difference, almost immediately, in her developmental state. She loves the staff and at times ask for them on the weekends! Lol! We’d recommend the center to anyone because they have taken such good care of our baby girl. 10/10”
